Han Solo Alden Ehrenreich

At last, the first proper trailer for Solo: A Star Wars Story has flown in.

It comes hot on the heels of the Super Bowl teaser, which served just to promote the first trailer, which has now dropped on Good Morning America. Check out the trailer below:

As you’d expect, the trailer showcases a lot of the major beats you’d expect from a Han Solo movie: there are a lot of shots of the Falcon in action, including being chased by some TIE Fighters, Donald Glover’s Lando, Woody Harrelson’s Beckett, Thandie Newton’s unknown character, Emilia Clarke’s Qi’ra, and of course Alden Ehrenreich’s Han himself.

He was kept hidden in the teaser, but is put more front-and-centre here, although the jury is still out on him in the iconic role. Then again, the movie will see him developing into the scruffy-looking nerf herder we all know and love, so perhaps we’ll get something closer to ‘proper’ Han towards the end of the movie, and the rest of the trailer looks pretty great.
