Samsung unveiled today the 2018 variant of its Notebook 7 Spin 2-in-1 laptop with upgraded components, a larger battery, and a few other noteworthy improvements, just ahead of CES 2018.
Featuring a 360-degree rotating touchscreen, the 2018 variant of Samsung’s Notebook 7 Spin 2-in-1 laptop comes with support for Active Pen (sold separately), secure fingerprint log-in capabilities, the latest Windows 10 operating system from Microsoft, advanced smart recording functions, a larger capacity battery, and Studio Plus.
“Our customers wanted a functional, intuitive device that includes a wide range of their favorite features, and that’s what we’ve delivered with the Notebook 7 Spin (2018),” said YoungGyoo Choi, Senior Vice President of the PC Business Team, Mobile Communications Business at Samsung Electronics.

Featuring an A/C metal chassis, the Samsung Notebook 7 2018 Spin is powered by an 8th-generation Intel i5 Quad-Core processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD internal storage, and a 13.3-inch Full HD PLS display. It comes with fingerprint support, as well as Windows Hello and Privacy Folder features for increased security of your sensitive files.
Connectivity-wise, Samsung Notebook 7 2018 Spin sports a USB-C port, a USB 3.0 port, a USB 2.0 port, an HDMI port, a VGA camera, a headphone jack, and microphone. The device also features a precision touchpad and a backlit keyboard with 1.5mm keystroke and curved keycap.
Samsung says that device meets all the needs of today’s digital lifestyle and that customers will find it useful for both work and play, thanks to the personalized and seamless experience that lets users connect it with their other devices.
