Adobe has added another data source to its marketing platform, with Thinfilm Electronics’ recent announcement of the data integration of its Near Field Communication (NFC) tags.

Thinfilm, based in Oslo, Norway, manufactures printed electronic products, including small, inexpensive NFC tags that can be used on products to provide more information in physical stores.

Thinfilm indicates that it is the first time that the Adobe platform integrates NFC data for customer engagement, and it is the first time that Thinfilm integrates data from these types of tags to a marketing platform.
