Small businesses looking for an online presence can now have pre-built website sections that do not skimp on customizable features like video and parallax images creating an illusion of depth.
Zoho recently launched additional features on Zoho Sites, its DIY website builder. This latest version also features customizable page elements that support other design tools, as well as drag-and-drop templates for everything from newsletters to headers and images.
Even better, you do not need a coding environment or an expensive computer department to begin with.
Zoho’s chief evangelist, Raju Vegesna, told Small Business Trends how the new settings are addressing small businesses seeking to expand their footprint online.
One million websites
“Establishing an online presence is an essential part of any business and Zoho Sites allows you to do it very easily without the technical know-how,” Vegesna said. “We have more than one million websites hosted on Zoho Sites and this new redesign will provide more flexibility for companies to create and customize their website without much effort, while making it more powerful.”
New Zoho Site Updates
Other features that simplify the process of creating websites for small businesses include a quick customization window.
Users get the added benefit of pop-ups that offer design and layout options when they add an item or section when creating a website.
Streamlining the Web Construction Process
Privacy is guaranteed because users can manage the visibility of their website within the organization and in its public presence. Another great benefit for the small business that is looking to build its own website without a lot of noise is the streamlined user interface.
The new Zoho sites combine cleaner design with more efficiency. For example, all integrations with Zoho SalesIQ, Zoho CRM, Zoho PageSense, Zoho campaigns and third-party apps are just a click away.
Vegesna explains how Zoho added a visual element to facilitate these integrations.
“One of the challenges of integration is to know the technical aspects of how to make two applications dialog .. Zoho Flow facilitates integration between several applications without going into technical aspects. It offers a visual constructor to build integration flows between applications without putting [in] a lot of effort. “
The new Zoho sites are now available. There is a free version, but you can get more features with the paid subscription that starts at $ 5 per site and per month for the Essential plan. The professional plan is $ 12 a month and $ 20 allows your small business the ultimate complete plan. And you can see their website for more details.
Zoho’s headquarters are in Pleasanton, California and Chennai, India. Their products have 30 million users worldwide and have more than 5,000 employees.
